On September 12, 2026, João Gomes took the Palco Sunset stage at Rock in Rio alongside the Orquestra Brasileira, in a performance that brought a combination of piseiro, forró, frevo, maracatu, and elements of Pernambuco culture to the Cidade do Rock.
The shirt, immortalized by João Gomes' own signature, gains even more significance by being associated with the artist's remarkable participation in the festival. The singer brought his Northeastern identity to Rock in Rio, celebrating his roots and performing hits like “Dengo”, “Pulando Etapas” and “Lembrei de Nós”, in addition to reinterpretations of Brazilian music classics.

Even before reaching the stage, João Gomes promoted a true Pernambuco procession through the Cidade do Rock, with frevo, maracatu, giant puppets from Olinda, and stilt walkers.
