A piece of immense historical value for collectors of the Brazilian National Team: Official Brazil Jersey – Lúcio #3 – 2006 World Cup, signed by several members of what became known as one of the most star-studded squads in the recent history of Brazilian football.
The jersey features the signatures of Lúcio, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho Gaúcho, Kaká, Cafu, Roberto Carlos, Dida, Rogério Ceni, Júlio César, Zé Roberto, among other great names who were part of the National Team led by Carlos Alberto Parreira at the World Cup in Germany.
The squad brought together world champions, Ballon d'Or winners, historical idols, and players who defined a generation. Among the highlights were the five-time champion Ronaldo, the talent of Ronaldinho Gaúcho, the young Kaká, captains Cafu and Roberto Carlos, as well as Lúcio, a fundamental piece of the Brazilian defensive system. The CBF confirms all these names in the official call-up for the 2006 World Cup.
In Germany, Brazil defeated Croatia, Australia, and Japan in the group stage and overcame Ghana in the round of 16. In the quarterfinals, however, they were eliminated by France 1-0 in Frankfurt, in a match immortalized by Zinedine Zidane's performance and Thierry Henry's goal. Lúcio was a starter in that match, as were Dida, Cafu, Roberto Carlos, Kaká, Ronaldinho, and Ronaldo.
