A rarity that connects the history of soccer to the golden age of video games. Released for the Atari 2600 in 1981, Pelé’s Soccer is a classic title that carries the name and inspiration of the King of Soccer into the world of electronic games. This original cartridge is in working condition and features Pelé's autograph, bringing together nostalgia, gamer culture, and the history of one of the greatest icons of world sports in a special piece for collectors.
More than just a classic video game, this item represents an era when electronic games began to conquer homes and bring new generations closer to soccer. The combination of the cartridge's rarity, its functionality, and Pelé's signature makes this piece a highlight for collectors of vintage video games, sports memorabilia, and fans of the eternal number 10 of the Brazilian National Team.
Curiosity: Pelé’s Soccer was developed for the Atari 2600 at a time when soccer games had extremely simple graphics but already sought to reproduce the emotion of the sport. The title stood out for directly associating the image of a world-famous athlete with a video game, anticipating a partnership between sports and electronic entertainment that would become common in the following decades.
