A true collector's piece that brings together two historical references from the trajectory of Club de Regatas Vasco da Gama and one of its greatest idols: Barbosa.
The lot features a commemorative pennant of the 1956 Vasco 'Campeão de Terra e Mar', signed by the legendary goalkeeper Moacyr Barbosa, accompanied by an edition of the magazine O Globo Esportivo, from 1952, featuring the historic article “A Sorte Brinca com Barbosa”.
The pennant preserves the memory of one of the achievements that marked Vasco in the 1950s, while the publication offers a contemporary journalistic record about Barbosa, bringing the collector closer to the sporting atmosphere of that era.
The combination of historical memorabilia, vintage publication, and the autograph of one of the greatest goalkeepers in Brazilian football makes this set especially relevant for collectors of Vasco and national football history.
Curiosity
The name “Barbosa” became synonymous with one of the great goalkeeper schools in Brazilian football. At Vasco, the goalkeeper was part of the legendary generation known as Expresso da Vitória, a team that dominated Brazilian and South American football between the late 1940s and the 1950s.
