The name Bring Me The Horizon was inspired by a line from the film Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, in which the character Jack Sparrow says: “Now, bring me that horizon.”
The expression ultimately became the name of one of the most important bands to emerge from the British Metalcore scene during the 2000s.
