Imported 14" Snare Drum Head Remo Ambassador Coated Autographed by Jonathan "Sugarfoot" Moffett, Michael Jackson's Drummer

A piece of memorabilia of immense significance for Michael Jackson fans and international music collectors. This 14-inch Remo Ambassador Coated drum head, imported and autographed by Jonathan “Sugarfoot” Moffett, is directly linked to one of the musicians who helped build the sound of the King of Pop's live performances.

Jonathan Moffett began his journey with The Jacksons in 1979, participating in the historic Destiny, Triumph, and Victory tours. Over more than three decades, he also accompanied Michael Jackson in iconic moments, including the HIStory World Tour, the 30th-anniversary career celebration at Madison Square Garden, and the rehearsals for the planned This Is It tour in 2009.

The nickname “Sugarfoot” became one of Moffett's trademarks, associated with his impressive bass drum pedal technique and the energy of his performances. Beyond Michael Jackson and The Jacksons, the drummer has worked with major names such as Madonna, Elton John, George Michael, Stevie Wonder, Lionel Richie, and Janet Jackson.

The piece gains even more personality by being a Remo Ambassador Coated, a model that appears among the equipment associated with Moffett. Remo itself highlights the Ambassador Coated for its combination of warm sound, defined attack, and controlled sustain, being one of the brand's most traditional heads.

Fun Fact

In 2009, Michael Jackson personally invited Moffett to join the band for his highly anticipated This Is It tour. Although the tour never reached the stage, the rehearsals were recorded in the documentary Michael Jackson’s This Is It, in which Moffett appears playing and talking about his experience alongside the artist.

After Michael's death, Moffett continued to keep this legacy alive, participating in the Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour by Cirque du Soleil between 2011 and 2014. His career also includes historic moments such as his performance with Madonna at the 1985 Live Aid and appearances in several of the biggest music tours in the world.
